Fall Break!!

Over fall break last week, I did nootthiinngg. haha, I got to sleep in and relax,  it was great. I also started packing up my room, because me and my family are moving on saturday! I soo can't wait to move, I'm so excited :) I just hate packing because I don't know where to put all my stuff...

My parents were both working pretty much all day last week, so I couldn't go out or doing anything, because I had no ride :/ oh well. It's good to relax anyway.

Soo..next week is Halloween! I've always loved Halloween :) This year I'm going to be a dark fairy. Not creepy or anything, just..dark. I'm gonna wear dark clothing I guess you could say, haha. I'm not sure if I'm gonna go trick or treating though, since I'm seventeen and trick or treating seems childish..but I love dressing up and getting free candy :P This would be my last chance at trick or treating anyway, since next year I'll be eighteen.

I'm a weird person. And I'm not afraid to admit it! Of course, everyone is weird in their own way. I believe that's a good thing :) If we were all the same, liked the same things, the world would be suuucch a boring place! Some people just don't get it.

I hate when someone judges me and criticizes me for what I look like or for how I act. I am not perfect, and I know it. And that doesn't mean someone has to bring me down for that, they aren't perfect either! I try not to let those kind of things get to me. Maybe they hate because they're just jealous..? I don't know, maybe that's it.

Everyone is beautiful in their own way. :) There's no reason whatsoever to bring others down. Even if they were mean to you, or annoying, you need to be the bigger person and just let it go. Don't strike back, you can't fight fire with fire, you know?

I know how hard it is when someone hurts you verbally, and you want to hurt them back. But that won't solve anything! Just let it go! Or let them know how that makes you feel when they say things you don't like, or stop hanging out with them.

I looovvee music soo much! I can''t go a day without listening to it! I listen to mostly pop, and a lil country and rap. I love Christian music too. :)

Cats vs. Dogs

Some people like dogs better...and some people like dogs better. I don't think i really have a favorite. i guess it all depends on which cat and which dog it is. Some dogs are mean, or annoying, and some cats are mean and annoying.

My friends cats are super cute ans sweet, they don't bite or scratch much. But some cats are grumpy, or just have a lot of attitude.

Some dogs are mean. Like if someone treats their dog wronger, so they become vicious and don't trust people. but some people just prefer cats because they don't usually run away, and they don't chew on everything they see.

My dog is very sweet, and she loves attention from people. :) She gets a little crazy sometimes, especially when we first get home from school. Or when visitors come over. She is so precious :))

Favorite Hairstyles

Here is some of my favorite hairstyles! :)

Side braid: I pull all of my hair to one side of my head, and braid it.
Straightened: I straighten my hair with a straightening iron.
Curly: I usually spiral curl my hair with a curling wand.
Ponytail: I pull of my hair back, and put it into a ponytail.
Katniss braid: The braid Katniss had in the Hunger Games.
Wavy: I braid all my hair the night before in small braids all over my head, and take it out in the morning and hairspray it.
Braided side bangs: I braid my side bangs and pin it with bobby pins(side french braid also).
Bun: I'll gather all my hair, and put it in a bun on top of my head, or on the back of my head.

Why I Think Students Should be Able to Have Their Phones in School

Students should be allowed to keep their phones with them in school, instead of having to turn it in. They should also be allowed to use it during lunch, so they can text/call someone if they need to. During class they can leave it turned off in their backpacks, so it doesn't disturb class. Another reason why students should be allowed to have their phones during school, is because it will be easier if they have to make a quick call to their parents or someone else, it will be much faster than having to go to the office.

            Using your phone in class obviously is not good, but I think that if you use it during lunch or between classes would be alright. Just as long as it is turned off during class, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Teachers should not make such a big deal out of students not turning in their cell phones. At my old school, we were allowed to keep our phones turned off in our backpacks during class, and at lunch we were allowed to use them and iPods too. We were also allowed to use it as a calculator during math class!

            After school, I believe teachers do not have a right to take your phone away if they find out you didn’t turn it in. It is after schools hours, therefore, they no longer have power over you. They cannot take something of yours if school is over for the day. In a way, turning in your cellphone is a good thing, because texting during class takes your focus off the teacher. It can be very distracting. But if you can have it during school and just turn it off and leave it in your backpack and only have it during lunch, that would be great!

My Pets :)

My first pet was a dog, named Makita. My parents bought her before I was born, and she died at the age of 13 when I was 10 years old. Since she was my first dog and she had been there all my life, it was really hard to see her die. :( She had to be put down because I think her spleen or something ruptured, and she was internally bleeding. She had cancer as well. I watched her being put down. It was one of the hardest things i had ever seen happen. :(

My third and fourth pet were two rabbits, Molly and Rory. :) They were so cute and snugly, I loved them will all my heart. Molly was such a fattie, she would always steal Rory's food because he eats slower than her and is a little smaller than her. I had to get rid of them when i moved across country, because rabbits don't do well with traveling. :( I miss them very much.

My fourth pet was another dog, Penny! She was the opposite of Makita. She was crazy, she would randomly start running around the yard like a maniac. It was really funny though :P She also really loved to play bite, which hurts because her teeth are so sharp. She finally cut that out. Penny is now almost 7 years old, and she's much much calmer than she was a few years ago.

For a few weeks a had a pet mouse, Olivia. She escaped from her ball one day, and she was running around our house for about a week, then my dad caught her and put her back in her cage. But she wasn't there for long..She escaped again! She must have somehow squeezed her little body through the bars in her cage. My dad set glue traps all over the house, and she got stuck in one of them..the one that was in my room! I cried so hard, it was hard to watch her die. I got really attached to her in those few weeks.

About 4 months ago, I got a pet turtle! My boyfriend caught her in a creek for me :) She's sooo cute! I named her Telulah, Lula for short. She lives in my room, in a 10 gallon turtle tank. She eats worms, but recently I've been giving her store bought turtle food. She seems to enjoy that. :P Lula is so precious, I love her to pieces. :)
